About the Founder
Tim is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT), and a certified Functional Nutrition Informed Professional. Over the course of his career, he has worked with diverse patient populations—including high-level endurance athletes through his private practice, firefighters via a contract with the Contra Costa Fire Department, and the general public through the Sutter Health system.
As a high-level cyclist himself, Tim takes great pride in his own physical performance and is continually seeking ways to optimize his nutrition—not just to stay fit, but also to maintain peak mental performance in his work as a physical therapist serving complex patient populations. His personal commitment to performance deeply informs his professional mission.
Across all groups he’s worked with, Tim has consistently observed struggles with both physical and mental performance, often rooted in poor nutrition. Recognizing the critical role nutrition plays in overall well-being, he founded Performance Pod Vending to reduce barriers to high-quality, performance-based nutrition—making it more accessible to anyone striving to thrive both mentally and physically.
Tim is also a lifelong learner. Beyond the ongoing requirements to maintain his physical therapy license, he regularly pursues additional coursework to expand his expertise—particularly in the field of nutrition. He is currently enrolled in a year-long intensive program focused on functional nutrition for both everyday individuals and athletes, deepening his knowledge to better serve those looking to improve their performance and well-being through food.

- Vending machines will be equipped with remote monitoring technology to track inventory levels and sales in real-time.
- Regular servicing and restocking will occur on a bi-weekly or monthly basis, depending on demand.
- Products will never get stuck due to the open door style of machines we use.

- Our vending machine software enables cashless payments (credit/debit cards, mobile wallets), tracks sales, and manages inventory.
- We will offer a user-friendly website and maintain regular contact with customers to encourage feedback, suggested products, and additional locations for future vending machine placements.
AI Vending Machines By: HAHA Vending
Our vending machines are AI-powered, refrigerated open-door units manufactured by HAHA Vending. They feature a modern point-of-sale system that supports tap, swipe, and insert payment options for maximum convenience. Once the door is opened, cameras capture the products selected, and the appropriate amount is charged to the customer. A QR code is displayed to allow the customer to view their receipt after their purchase. This advanced technology allows for easier access to products and a seamless checkout experience—making it simple to purchase multiple items at once without the usual hassle.
